Returns and Refund Policy

Thanks for purchasing our products at Dainty Book Box.

 

By purchasing a product from Dainty Book Box, you as the consumer are responsible for reading our policies before purchasing any item.  

 

“Can I get a refund?”

If you have ordered from Dainty Book Box, you are not eligible for a refund for a simple change of mind.

 

“My item is damaged”

If you receive your Dainty Book Box and a swag item is damaged, we will offer a partial refund for that particular item. Please be ready to provide us with proof photos of the damaged item/s, the box, order number and shipping label. You must also contact us within 7 days of receiving your product, otherwise you will not be eligible for a replacement/refund. 

If your book within your Dainty Book Box is damaged, we will try our best to replace it for you. In the instance that we cannot replace your book, we will provide a partial refund for the book. Please be ready to provide us with proof photos of the book, the box, order number and shipping label.

If a replacement is agreed upon for the book, we may ask you to destroy or damage the book before we send out a replacement. Please do not damage the book until we have confirmed a replacement with you. We also may ask for further photos to assess the issue.

 

Damaged book guidelines:

What we DO NOT classify as damaged:

- Small scratches, marks or residue on the book

- Small creases on the top or bottom of the book

- Minimal creasing on top or bottom of the book spine/cover

- Wavy pages

 

- What we DO classify as damaged:

- Any rip visible on the book larger than 1cm

- Marks on the front or spine that cannot be removed

- Damaged pages that affect the text in the book

- Anything else that deems the book unreadable

“I have changed my mind, can I return my box?”

We cannot process a return for a change of mind.

Change of address?

Recently we have had people purchasing products and then later changing their international address to an Australian one. Unfortunately, we pay a fee every-time we refund someone for the shipping. Therefore, we will not be be doing international address changes unless you are willing to have the fee deducted from your refund.

 

Flipping?

Dainty Book Box does not tolerate price gouging. If it comes to our attention that someone has flipped their box, book or swag for an exorbitant price, any pending boxes or orders will be cancelled and you will be banned from purchasing from us.  To prevent flipping, we also have a one box per household policy. Any additional orders to an address will be cancelled.
